You, the buyer, will be given all health records and proper registration forms for your puppy. Your puppy has been provided with the best care possible. We give a 2-year guarantee against four hereditary conditions (glaucoma, Von Willebrand’s disease, Thrombopathia, and heart disease). Your puppy has been raised for the first 8 to 10 weeks of life on Nuvet Plus supplements.

 

This guarantee is only valid if your puppy is on at least 2 years of daily Nuvet Plus vitamins starting the day he/she leaves our kennel and you purchase a Home Essentials Kit.

 

We believe so strongly in Nuvet Plus daily supplements and treating and preventing illness and life's occasional health situations, for example, ear infections, aches and sprains with non-toxic, synthetic free choices, rather than antibiotics and harsh chemicals that have multiple side effects. that we have included it in our contract to ensure the health and well-being of your puppy. Please allow your first line of defense to be a natural solution. We will teach you how!  This can save you so much on vet costs. Learning to treat the needs of your family's health and your pet's health is very empowering.

 

Houndful Hearts does not guarantee the following on any puppy sold: 

• Future development of osteochondritis dissecans (OCD), elbow dysplasia

• Entropian, ectropion, cataracts, or other eye conditions not listed here 

• Behavioral problems or personality traits not associated with temperament

• The Breeder is not responsible for any parasite problem the puppy has from the date the puppy leaves our property onwards.

 

Upon receiving your puppy, you have 4 days (96 hours excluding weekends and holidays) to have your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian. If the veterinarian finds that your puppy has a life-threatening condition, you have the option of returning your puppy/dog immediately, AT BUYER'S EXPENSE, and there must be a written statement with documentation of the test results from your veterinarian mailed to us as proof of the condition. NOTE: WE DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS IN THIS CASE. However, we will replace the puppy with another available one. If no puppies are available in the current litter, you will be put on the list for the next planned litter. The new puppy will be shipped to you, if needed, AT OUR EXPENSE.

Houndful Hearts is NOT responsible for any decisions made by your vet or for any vet bills, which could occur during the 4-day period (after you receive your puppy) or ANYTIME after. We will NOT be responsible for any medical bills pertaining to your puppy once it leaves us.

 

If you decide you do not want your puppy, even into adulthood, Houndful Hearts will take your dog back, no questions asked. We do not want any of our dogs to end up in a shelter or basset rescue.
