Tater Pants is quite the character

Our little man is getting VERY big...up to 22 lbs. yesterday. He does love to eat. We had some unseasonable warm weather today, and he enjoyed exploring our yard and helping Dad rake out dried lamb's ear from the flowerbed. He also loves playing tag with Marley, our Corgi; they chase each other around the house until one of them (or both!) collapses. Marley likes to take squeaky toys right out of Tater's mouth - gotta show that young whipper-snapper who's alpha dog around here! We're enjoying Tater SO much. He's brought such joy into our lives, despite the challenges of housebreaking. I smile just thinking about him.

      Tater-Pants first week in STL

Tater has had an eventful first 5 days with us. He got to meet his new brother, Marley, and they’re quickly becoming best buds. They chase each other around the house, and Marley is very patient when Tater decides to hang from his cheeks or bite his tail. Our cat, Catalina, is just beginning to venture downstairs to keep a wary eye on Tater. I’m sure they’ll be friends soon. We had a great time at Tater’s first vet visit - she just wanted to sit on the floor and play with him all day. I told her that was fine, but I wasn’t going to pay her for it! He passed his exam with flying colors, and got a green star for being such a good boy. Back next Wednesday for his next round of shots. 😳 Tater is making great progress on his potty training. He already goes to the door when he wants to go out! He’s a smart little firecracker, and we just love him like crazy.
