    Tater-Pants first week in STL

    in Penelope & Leonardo

Tater has had an eventful first 5 days with us. He got to meet his new brother, Marley, and they’re quickly becoming best buds. They chase each other around the house, and Marley is very patient when Tater decides to hang from his cheeks or bite his tail. Our cat, Catalina, is just beginning to venture downstairs to keep a wary eye on Tater. I’m sure they’ll be friends soon.

We had a great time at Tater’s first vet visit - she just wanted to sit on the floor and play with him all day. I told her that was fine, but I wasn’t going to pay her for it! He passed his exam with flying colors, and got a green star for being such a good boy. Back next Wednesday for his next round of shots. 😳

Tater is making great progress on his potty training. He already goes to the door when he wants to go out! He’s a smart little firecracker, and we just love him like crazy.

He is absolutely gorgeous! We are hoping to add a little guy to our family this year. It’s so helpful to be able to follow Taters progress and possibly learn a few tips since we’ve never owned a Basset.
